What is upcycling at La Fiancée?
It was in the Summer Capsule that you could see the appearance of pieces with the words "Upcycling".
But, let's start with the basics, upcycling, what is it?
Upcycling is part of sustainable fashion. It is the fact of starting from an already existing raw material to propose new and original models.
At La Fiancée, the idea came from a simple observation: surplus materials at our supplier = dormant stocks. Why not use fabrics from old collections, reuse them and transform them? Imagine a new product with fabrics that have been used for other products? The fabric initially used to create a dress becomes the basis for a bag? No waste, waste reduction and textile recycling... upcycling has good sides!
Our creative team has therefore developed, from the stocks of unused fabrics, several 100% cotton models in several prints, all iconic of La Fiancée. Today, it is a mini upcycled collection, but the process is underway and La Fiancée intends to continue on this path! Use the "excess" of stocks and offer you 100% upcycled products via materials already produced to see the appearance of new models more responsible.

The accessory we all need in summer, I named: Roda, the large printed cotton tote. At work or at the beach, the Roda bag exists in 4 prints that smell like summer. 2 words to present it ?
