Creation of a print at La Fiancée
STEP 1: The Conceptualization Phase
It is in our Breton offices in Saint-Gilles that the Design Team conceives, sketches, and colors the prints for La Fiancée.
The destination chosen for the new collection serves as a guiding theme to inspire the mood board (mood photos, colors, crafts, etc.). A color palette is defined (though not set in stone) based on market trends and, above all, our own preferences!
Ideas flow freely, and shapes and colors spring to life in numerous sketches, which are then digitized and refined down to the smallest detail.
On average, 15 unique and original prints—each available in 2 or 3 color combinations—are created for each collection.
STEP 2:
Once the best combination has been approved by our entire design team, the garments are sent to our suppliers for production to create a series of samples. These are the next pieces from La Fiancée that will be manufactured, checked, and adjusted as needed by our teams before finally being produced for the launch of the new collection.
We pay special attention to pairing solid colors to make our patterns stand out!
And for those of you who love the Tea Flower pattern, you can find it in stores, at our retailers, or on our online store.
And for all you blue lovers out there, check it out in another color…
